The SS340RT/SS440R Series are versatile unipolar digital Hall-effect sensor ICs designed for operation by magnetic fields. They respond to a single pole (North for SS340RT, South for SS440R) and are available in three magnetic sensitivities: high (75 G), medium (135 G), and low (305 G). The SS340RT is offered in a miniature SOT-23 surface mount package, ideal for space-constrained applications and low-voltage (3 Vdc) operation, while the SS440R comes in a leaded TO-92-style package. These sensors feature robust IC design with ESD protection, reverse polarity protection, and a wide operating temperature range of -40 C to 150 C. They are suitable for a variety of applications including motion control, lid closure detection, speed sensing, flow rate sensing, and position control.
