OPB739RWZ Reflective Line Reader Sensor

The OPB739RWZ is a high-performance reflective line reader sensor designed for precise line detection. It features a visible red (650nm) LED and an NPN silicon phototransistor with converging optical axes, enabling it to detect line widths as small as 0.004" [0.1mm] at an optimal distance of 0.030" [0.76mm]. The sensor's design maximizes reflected signal contrast for black lines on white backgrounds, making it ideal for applications such as line reading, low-resolution bar code sensing, paper edge detection, mark detection, and reflective optical encoders. It offers focused sensitivity, a phototransistor output, and a low-cost plastic housing. The OPB739RWZ can be used with Optek's OCB100CZ auto calibration module for reduced variability and digital output. Custom electrical configurations are available upon request.
