The TSOP62.. and TSOP64.. series are miniaturized SMD IR receiver modules designed for infrared remote control systems. These modules integrate a PIN diode and a preamplifier in a single package with an epoxy casing containing an IR filter. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to a microprocessor for decoding. The TSOP64.. series is optimized to suppress spurious pulses from Wi-Fi and CFL sources, making it suitable for new designs. The TSOP62.. series is primarily for compatibility with older AGC2 designs. These components are not qualified for automotive specifications.
