The Littelfuse DRS-50 is a standard, normally open, high-power reed switch designed for demanding applications. It features a hermetically sealed glass envelope, ensuring reliable operation unaffected by its environment. Capable of switching up to 400Vdc at 2mA and carrying up to 6A, it can handle power up to 100W/VA, making it suitable for switching European mains voltage. With high insulation resistance and low contact resistance, the DRS-50 is ideal for security systems, limit switching, industrial applications, and white goods.
