Product Overview

The Allegro A1363 is a low-noise, high-precision, programmable linear Hall-effect current sensor IC designed for high accuracy and resolution without compromising bandwidth. It features proprietary linearly interpolated temperature compensation technology, programmed at the factory, ensuring virtually flat sensitivity and offset across the full operating temperature range. With a 90 kHz bandwidth, it is ideal for HEV inverters, DC-to-DC converters, and electric power steering (EPS) applications. This ratiometric sensor IC provides a voltage output proportional to the applied magnetic field and allows customer configuration of sensitivity and quiescent output voltage through programming. It incorporates a highly sensitive Hall element with a BiCMOS interface, low-noise amplifier, and dynamic offset cancellation technique. The device offers broken ground wire detection, user-selectable output voltage clamps, and is AEC-Q100 automotive qualified, operating across the automotive temperature range of 40C to 150C. It is available in a lead (Pb) free, 8-pin TSSOP package.
