The Allegro ACS781xLR is a fully integrated, automotive-grade linear Hall-effect current sensor IC designed for high-precision measurement of bidirectional AC and DC currents up to 100 A. Housed in a compact, low-profile (1.5 mm thick) core-less package, it offers ultra-low power loss due to its 200 internal conductor resistance. The device features advanced Hall sensor technology with common-mode field rejection for optimal performance in the presence of interfering magnetic fields. It provides an analog output voltage (VOUT) that varies linearly with the primary current (IP). Key advantages include factory-trimmed accuracy, chopper-stabilized signal path for stability across temperature ranges, and integrated shielding for high-level immunity to dV/dt and stray electric fields, making it ideal for high-side, high-voltage applications. The ACS781xLR is AEC-Q100 qualified.
