Product Overview

The BDH8181 is a high-sensitivity Hall-effect latched sensor designed for electronic commutation in brushless DC motor applications. This integrated device features an on-chip Hall voltage generator, a comparator for Hall voltage amplification, and a Schmitt trigger for noise rejection and open-collector output. An internal bandgap regulator ensures temperature-compensated supply voltage, allowing for a wide operating supply range. The output turns ON with a sufficiently strong north magnetic pole and OFF in the absence of a magnetic field. It is available in TO-92S-3 and SOT-23-3 packages.
