It provides an active low output in response to infrared bursts at 940 nm, with a carrier frequency of 38 kHz for presence sensing. This module offers constant sensitivity in varying ambient light conditions, including direct sunlight, and supports applications such as reflective sensors, vending machine fall detection, security gates, and fast proximity sensing for robotics and consumer electronics.
