The MEMSIC MXC6655XA is a digital three-axis accelerometer utilizing MEMSIC's proprietary thermal technology. Built on a 0.18m CMOS process, it features no moving sensor parts, ensuring high reliability and repeatability by eliminating issues like resonance, stiction, and hysteresis. The device offers a shock survival rating of over 200,000g. It provides 12-bit X, Y, and Z axis acceleration signals, an 8-bit temperature output, 6-position orientation detection, and shake detection with programmable thresholds. The MXC6655XA operates with a 1.8V to 3.6V single supply and features an I2C slave interface supporting FAST mode (up to 400 KHz). It is available in a compact 12-pin LGA 2mmx2mmx1mm package and is RoHS compliant.
