The Magntek MT6701 is a next-generation magnetic angle sensor chip based on differential Hall technology. It provides 0-360 absolute angle position detection with high accuracy and a system delay of less than 5 s. The chip offers versatile output interfaces including I2C, SSI, ABZ, UVW, Analog Voltage, PWM, and Z-axis press detection. It supports high rotational speeds up to 55,000 RPM and features excellent immunity to stray magnetic fields. The MT6701 is ideal for applications such as absolute angle position sensing, closed-loop motor control (stepper, BLDC), robotic joint control, and non-contact rotary knobs or buttons.
