VCP1615 Linear Position Sensor

The VCP1615 is a high-precision linear position sensor utilizing Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology, offering superior positional accuracy compared to traditional Hall sensors. Its optimized design and packaging enable reliable and accurate operation in harsh environments such as oily, dusty, and high-temperature conditions. The VCP1615 is designed to work with magnetic scales, with the sensor spanning one or more magnetic poles at a 5.0mm pitch. This design eliminates positional errors caused by imperfect magnetic poles, further enhancing measurement accuracy. Additionally, the VCP1615 tolerates significant variations in the sensor-to-magnet gap, simplifying installation and testing. Packaged in DFN, it is suitable for automated surface mounting.
