The T117/T117B series are high-precision digital-analog mixed-signal temperature sensing chips designed for a wide operating range of -103C to +153C. Featuring a 16-bit ADC with 0.004C resolution and accuracy up to 0.1C, these chips offer factory calibration, eliminating user calibration needs. They utilize CMOS semiconductor PN junction temperature and bandgap voltage characteristics, processed with signal amplification, analog-to-digital conversion, and digital calibration compensation for a digital bus output. Key advantages include high accuracy, excellent consistency, fast temperature measurement, low power consumption, flexible programmable configuration, and long lifespan. The chips support I2C communication up to 1MHz and include non-volatile E2PROM for storing ID, alarm thresholds, calibration values, and user-defined information. An ALERT pin is available for hardware alarm applications.
